Your health journey is personal. That's why GLP-1 Fuel is built with a local-first architecture — your data stays on your device, not our servers.
Overview
GLP-1 Fuel ("the App") is a meal suggestion application for users of GLP-1 medications, developed by Andrew Bjornson ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our App.
Information We Collect
We do not collect personal information. The App is designed with privacy at its core:
- No account registration required
- No email, name, or personal identifiers collected
- No servers storing your information
- All preferences and meal data remain on your device
Data Stored on Your Device
The following information is stored locally on your device only:
- Meal preferences and sensory filters
- Saved favorites and meal history
- App settings (protein targets, units, dietary preferences)
- Subscription status (synced via Apple)
This data persists until you delete it through Settings or uninstall the App.
Third-Party Services
We integrate three external services to provide core functionality. Each operates independently under their own privacy policies.
RevenueCat (Payment Processing)
Manages in-app subscriptions and purchase verification.

Sentry (Crash Reporting)

- No user identifiers attached
- PII scrubbing enabled
- No meal content captured
In-App Purchases
All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information (credit card, Apple Pay details, billing address).
Your subscription status is verified through RevenueCat using anonymous purchase tokens provided by Apple.
Children's Privacy
GLP-1 Fuel is intended for adults managing GLP-1 medications. The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Data Security
Since your data is stored locally on your device, security relies on your device's built-in protections:
- Device passcode or biometric authentication
- iOS encryption
- App sandboxing
We recommend enabling a device passcode for additional protection.
Your Rights & Control
You have complete control over your data:

Since we don't collect personal data on our servers, there's nothing for us to delete on our end.
For California Residents (CCPA)
We do not sell personal information. Since we do not collect personal data that identifies you, CCPA "right to know," "right to delete," and "right to opt-out of sale" requests are not applicable to our service.
The anonymous analytics described above do not constitute "personal information" under CCPA.
For EU/UK Residents (GDPR)
As we do not collect personal data that identifies you, GDPR data subject requests (access, rectification, erasure, portability) are not applicable to data we hold — because we don't hold any.
Anonymous analytics are processed under legitimate interest for service improvement. You can disable analytics by using the App in airplane mode.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
For significant changes, we'll notify you through the App.
